Tony & Ziva’ Finally Sets Release Date on Paramount+ With New Poster

Tiva shippers get out your calendars, however you keep them: on your phone, on your wall, in your bag, because NCIS: Tony & Ziva just got an official premiere date. The new Paramount+ series will debut on September 4 with three episodes. New episodes will debut every Thursday after, culminating in a season finale on October 23. Michael Weatherly and Cote De Pablo return as Anthony “Tony” DiNozzo and Ziva David, the fan-favorite will-they-won’t-they, of the NCIS franchise. The series has also released a new poster (no one will judge you for printing it out and sticking it on your wall, shippers). The pair is standing in front of the Parisian landscape where their troubles await.

The series has already broken franchise records before the premiere. The series’ trailer, across multiple platforms, raked in 93 million in just a week. There were 26.5 million across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, with 13 million on digital, including Paramount+, and the rest through broadcast. The trailer found Tony and Ziva co-parenting their daughter, Tali, in an on-again off-again relationship (is this better than will-they-won’t-they? Jury’s out.) The pair are soon wrapped up in an old conflict when Tony’s security firm is threatened and the pair have to go on the run with their daughter.

Earlier this year, Michael Weatherly shared a unique collaboration celebrating the upcoming NCIS spin-off. The actor shared a collaboration with Superstar Budapest and FinestArtShoes. The “special pair of kicks” as Weatherly explained, are black with NCIS on one side and Tony & Ziva on the other. Now, while places like RedBubble and Etsy probably abound with fanmade merch, it is fun to see that everyone, every industry, is excited about a spin-off that, unlike the others based on a location, is focused on a longtime fan-favorite couple. From the trailer, the series looks to balance both the dangerous task at hand, and the paramount (no pun intended) task of keeping their daughter, Tali, out of harm’s way with continuing to rebuild the relationship between Tony & Ziva that may look a little less will-they-won’t-they and finally a “they did.”
