New ‘Destination X’ Sneak Peek Has the Team Reeling From Last Weeks Elimination As They Jump to a New Location [Exclusive]

Destination X is winding down its first season on NBC and Peacock, but one of the show’s final episodes just got an exciting new look. Collider is pleased to partner with NBC to debut a new sneak peek at Destination X, Episode 7, which will air on Tuesday, July 8, at 10 pm EST and begin streaming on Peacock the following day. The show, hosted by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, follows a group of contestants who embark on an international adventure loaded with mind games and surprise ultimatums. Strangers must board a blacked-out bus for a thrilling trek across Europe. With no clue where they are or where they’re going, players must rely on their surroundings, pop culture, and geographical knowledge to correctly identify their location. If they aren’t able to figure out where they are, elimination looms.

Our exclusive sneak peek features stars JaNa Craig and Peter Weber, along with other contestants, as they ponder the elimination of fellow player Mack Fitzgerald. Social media icon Biggy Bailey can also be seen expressing his sadness about Mack’s elimination, highlighting the bond the two built together in previous episodes. Bailey even concludes that the former Bachelor star, Weber, is now the most dangerous player in the game.

While there are some new faces among the contestants of Destination X, reality TV fans might recognize JaNa Craig, who previously competed in Love Island USA Season 6, concluding the season coupled up with Kenny Rodriguez. Peter Weber, who previously appeared in both The Bachelor and The Traitors, is also among the contestants. Destination X has not yet been renewed for a second season, but the show has earned strong viewership thus far and has been mostly well-liked, so it would not be surprising to see NBC move forward with a second season. Destination X host Jeffrey Dean Morgan recently wrapped up the second season of The Walking Dead: Dead City, which came not long after he portrayed Conquest in the final episodes of Invincible Season 3. He also starred opposite Jack Quaid in Neighborhood Watch, which is now streaming on AMC+.

What’s Next for ‘Destination X’ Host Jeffrey Dean Morgan?

Jeffrey Dean Morgan is expected to reprise his role as Conquest in Invincible Season 4, but he’s also working with Prime Video on The Boys Season 5, which is expected to premiere next year. Morgan portrays Joe Kessler in the Emmy-winning series. Morgan is also due to star opposite Famke Janssen and Naomi Battrick in The Postcard Killer, which comes from writer Luke Garrett and is eyeing a production start soon. Morgan is best known for his role as Negan in The Walking Dead franchise and for starring alongside Dwayne Johnson in Rampage (2018).

Destination X Episode 7 will premiere on NBC this Tuesday and stream on Peacock the following day. Check out the new sneak peek above and stay tuned to Collider for more updates and coverage of the show.
