MGM+’s Underrated 96% Rotten Tomatoes Horror Series Gets a Creepily Exciting Filming Update From Star

Horror stories bring chills to the bones and the MGM+ horror hit From often has viewers feeling that way. It is also a never-ending maze, week after week of twists and turns that could end in a horrific death or a frankly unexpected plot twist. Season 3 of the horror series ended on a cliffhanger, but thankfully, it sets up Season 4 which was renewed in the lead-up to that finale, to start answering some of those lingering questions. As we look forward to the show’s return, a new filming update has come from one of the show’s stars, which should calm some of its more impatient fans.

From Season 4 is expected to arrive sometime later this year or in early 2026, and it would seem like the join towards that has begun. In a post shared on Instagram, Elizabeth Saunders, who plays Donna in the MGM horror television show, has teased fans that season 4 is currently underway. Saunders’ post is captioned “heading to town for a while”, which is in reference to the mysterious town From is set in. Prior reports from earlier this year in March, suggested that From Season 4 was set to begin filming in the summer of 2025 in Nova Scotia. This meant that the coming season would be filmed in the same location as its previous seasons. Given that it’s summer already, this information aligns well with Saunders’ recent IG post.

What is ‘From’ About?

An underrated thriller and arguably one of the scariest television shows available. From takes audiences on a nightmarish, mind-bending journey. The series centers on a group of people who are trapped in a remote town that no one seems to know where is, and no one can leave. By day, the residents go about their lives, attempting to be normal despite their circumstances, but by night, grotesque human-like creatures roam the town with intentions of killing any who cross their path. Season 3 of From ended with an unexpected finale, and now fans want to know what’s next for Tabitha and Jade. There is also the new question of who is the mysterious man in yellow?

Created by John Griffin, the horror series still holds a 96% score from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, including a 9/10 score from Collider’s Jasneet Singh. Sheriff Boyd Stevens (Harold Perrineau) leads the group of people stuck in the Town and the show’s cast includes Catalina Sandino Moreno, Eion Bailey, Hannah Cheramy, Simon Webster, Ricky He, Chloe Van Landschoot, and David Alpay.
