The first teaser for Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey began playing in theaters ahead of Jurassic World Rebirth, and now the film just got an even more exciting look. Universal Pictures has officially unveiled the first poster for The Odyssey, which is also beginning to appear in select theaters. The film is still in production and is not slated for release until July 17, 2026 — more than a year from now, which makes this first look all the more shocking. The poster even features the first official tagline for the film, “Defy The Gods,” which will likely be followed by another tagline when the second poster is released. Matt Damon is set to star in the lead role of Odysseus, with Tom Holland rumored to be playing Telemachus opposite him.
