The slasher genre has received a ton of scream-worthy hits lately. Whether it be legacy sequels like Scream VI or new original frights like Sick, horror fans have been eating well. On the adaptation side of the blood-soaked knife, Eli Roth finally released his feature-length version of Thanksgiving in 2023. The holiday slasher was a full meal of carnage and fun sub-genre whodunnit tropes. A sequel is coming soon, but before John Carver enacts his delicious revenge, Sideshow Collectibles has unleashed their new Thanksgiving figure.
A part of their ⅙ scale figure collection, their Thanksgiving feast is centered around the founder and masked killer of Plymouth, Massachusetts. This John Carver stands at 12-inches tall and is fully articulated. He’s also ready for a killing spree with a turkey dinner full of accessories. These include a pilgrim hat, two masks (a traditional and melted one), a turkey apron, a microphone headset, a pitchfork, an axe, a meat tenderizer, a carving knife, and a tranquilizer gun. There’s also interchangeable hands and a hexagon base for display purposes. The figure will be $265 USD.
A Blood-Soaked Thanksgiving of Merch
This is just the latest figure attached to the Thanksgiving brand. Since the film was released in late 2023, John Carver has been the center of multiple action figures. Mainly from NECA, who added the new horror icon to their popular Ultimate seven-inch scale and Toony Terrors lines. With Thanksgiving 2 on the way, it’ll be interesting to see if this modern masked slasher icon will get any more killer releases from other companies like Funko or Mondo.
As for what Thanksgiving 2 is about, there are very few plot details for the sequel. We do know that Roth is returning to direct the film, and it’ll center around the remaining survivors of the first film. This includes Nell Verlaque’s Jessica and Addison Rae’s Gabby. The latter of which just released her self-titled debut pop album. The next festive chapter was set to release this year, but all indications point to the film not being shot yet. With Roth’s recent busy schedule, Thanksgiving 2 is likely to be delayed until next year.

Thanksgiving is currently streaming on Netflix. The slasher is also available on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K steelbook.
