Ahead of ‘Fallout’ Season 2, Ella Purnell Gets a New Post-Apocalyptic Figure From McFarlane Toys

Video game adaptations are having a moment this decade. Whether it be on the big screen with hits like Minecraft and Sonic the Hedgehog or on TV with The Last of Us and Twisted Metal, there’s no shortage of good genre content out there. However, where the sci-fi post-apocalyptic category is concerned, Amazon’s Fallout is arguably the best adaptation we’ve seen on TV thus far. The series, based on the Bethesda gaming franchise of the same name, will be debuting its second season this winter. Now, ahead of our return to the wasteland, McFarlane Toys has debuted their latest Fallout figure.

Number six in the Elite Edition line, McFarlane’s latest seven-inch figure is Lucy MacLean (Ella Purnell) and Dogmeat. Lucy is seen in the franchise’s iconic blue-and-yellow vault jumpsuit and comes with a survival guide full of accessories. This includes two swappable faceplates, a removable backpack, two pistols, four extra hands, and a figure base. There’s also a collectible art card and Elite Points card. You can use the latter to redeem items on McFarlane’s website. The figure will be $59.99 USD.

A Wasteland Full of Merchandise

While Fallout has been one of the most popular video game franchises around since the late ’90s, the TV series propelled it into the mainstream. McFarlane Toys has already released a ton of posed figures for Fallout, including Lucy, The Ghoul, Maximus, and The Vault Boy, the latter being the series’ mascot. The show’s first season gave the origins of this adorable and mischievous cartoon character. Hopefully all the main members of the wasteland will be added to the Elite Edition collection in the near future.

As for the show itself, it was an original story set at the furthest point so far in the Fallout timeline. Season 1 saw Lucy MacLean leave her vault for the first time in search of her kidnapped father. Along the way, she runs into a colorful group of characters, including The Ghoul (Walton Goggins) and a Brotherhood of Steel trainee named Maximus (Aaron Moten). The ending of the premiere season also reintroduced fans to New Vegas, one of the most beloved locations in the Fallout universe. There was so much to love about the series’ first batch of episodes, but the main reason it worked was because of its confidently goofy yet ultra-violent tone. At the center of that was Purnell, who added so much life to this already radioactive world.

When Does ‘Fallout’ Season 2 Release?

Before your next trip out of the vault, you can pre-order Lucy’s Fallout Elite Edition figure on McFarlane Toys’ website. The figure is set for release in March 2026.
