‘Agatha All Along’s Joe Locke Reveals Which MCU Character He’d Like to See Wiccan Interact With

After Agatha All Along bewitched audiences last fall, fans are hoping to see the stories of those that survived the Witches’ Road (and those that currently exist as ghosts) continue in further Marvel Cinematic Universe projects. When it comes to the actors’ own hopes for their characters’ futures, Joe Locke shared who he’d like to see his character interact with. Locke plays Wiccan, or Billy Kaplan, who technically houses the spirit of Billy Maximoff. Fans first met Billy in 2021’s WandaVision and, after the Hex was taken down by his mother, Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen), and his spirit inhabited Billy Kaplan’s body during what would’ve been a fatal car crash.

So who does Locke want Billy to interact with? The answer lies within another Disney+ show. He explains to Buzzfeed he’d like to see Billy and Loki (Tom Hiddleston), yes, the God of Mischief himself first seen in Thor, interact.

“I think Billy and Loki would get on very well. Both slightly mischievous in certain ways.”

How Did Billy’s Story End in ‘Agatha All Along?’

Billy’s initial identity is a mystery. He was hexed so that whenever he said his true identity, a sigil would appear instead. It would later be revealed that Lilia Calderu (Patti LuPone) saw into the future and placed the hex on him out of protection, but because of how her abilities work, she’d forgotten she’d hexed him. As Billy navigated his life as Billy Kaplan, he eventually seeks out Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) and asks her to help him walk the Witches’ Road (not knowing it was a scam for her to steal other witches’ powers). Because he is his mother’s son, Billy subconsciously used magic to make the Witches’ Road a reality so he, along with Agatha and four others, walked it.

After Agatha dies, just moments after getting her purple back (thanks to siphoning some of Billy’s magic), Billy returns to his life, still having not realized he created the Witches’ Road with magic. A ghost version of Agatha appears to him, and the pair sets off to find Billy’s twin, Tommy, because Billy just knows he’s out there, and he’s going to make Agatha come with him to find him. So as much as Agatha doesn’t want her fate to continue to be intertwined with the Maximoffs, Billy’s in particular, she’s stuck as a ghost after fearing death (or Death? Jury’s still out on that one). Who knows? Maybe in Billy’s journey to find Tommy, he’ll stumble across the God of Mischief himself (another variant perhaps?).
