‘Drag Race Brasil’ Returns Fiercer Than Ever With Season 2 Trailer and Premiere Date Revealed

What’s up, lindas? After a long, long wait, WOW has finally unveiled a trailer and the release date for Drag Race Brasil Season 2. The show has been on hiatus for two years, but it’s finally time to get back to the Werk Room and prepare for some extra-special maxi-challenges. Season 2 of the competition series debuts on July 10 on Wow Presents Plus, and now you can check out the trailer.

In the new season, 10 queens will compete for the crown in the most hilarious and fashionable challenges every week, with the familiar runway challenges remaining the most important aspect of the reality series. Once again, the competition is hosted by legendary drag queen performer Grag Queen, who will eventually crown Brazil’s Next Drag Superstar. The Brazilian leg of the franchise follows the same structure as the other entries: queens are eliminated weekly and the bottom two lip-sync for their lives to get a chance to slay another day.

Along with the trailer, Wow Presents Plus also revealed that Drag Race Brasil will roll out with dub options in 12 languages, including English. The platform intends to make the feature available in all the apps later this year, but for now, you will only be able to toggle the dub options on the web player. The Brazilian Portuguese audio with English subtitles will be available on all platforms as it was in Season 1.

Who Are the Guest Judges of ‘Drag Race Brasil’ Season 2?

As is tradition with Drag Race, a slate of guest judges will participate in Season 2, and they are all local celebrities and influencers that you will enjoy getting to know and follow on social media. One of them is Cláudia Raia, a local superstar and theater professional who has a history with fans of RuPaul’s Drag Race — they’ve decided that Raia has an uncanny resemblance to Drag Race alum Detox, who participated in the flagship series’ Season 5 and in RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars 2. The two of them posed for a photo together when Detox visited Brazil in 2017.
