Now that we’re in the home stretch of Superman’s marketing campaign, it seems like DC fans are getting new pieces of merchandise tied to David Corenswet‘s Man of Steel every day. Funko has already revealed the first two waves of their Pop line for James Gunn’s new film. With that said, the popular vinyl figure company has taken to the skies once again with their latest DC Loungefly bag.
The Funko-owned company’s newest full-sized backpack is based on the new Superman costume that Corenswet will wear in his debut DC film. Front and center is the latest “S” shield for the Man of Tomorrow. It takes inspiration from Superman’s logo in the famous Kingdom Come graphic novel. While that’s what your eyeline is drawn to, this bag is jam-packed with detail. The outside of the backpack mimics the blue of Superman’s suit and piping that runs alongside it. The glossy finish also makes the color pop that much more. This is sure to help this famous Justice League member stand out in the crowd. However, that’s far from the best part, as the lining of the bag and the outline of the “S” shield glows-in-the-dark. Finally, the interior lining is filled with Superman graphics. The message “Look Up In The Sky” captures the spirit of this hopeful character.
Funko Super Friends, Enemies & More
Funko has been one of the leaders of Superman’s merchandising game. In their Pop line, they’ve given fans many versions of Superman, Krypto the Superdog, the villainous Lex Luthor, The Engineer and Lois Lane. The second wave coming later this summer has also highlighted lesser-known heroes like Hawkgirl, Guy Gardner’s Green Lantern, Mister Terrific and Metamorpho. Now that Loungefy has debuted their first bag for the DCU, it’ll be interesting to see if they do more larger-than-life characters for Gunn’s new shared universe in the future.
Alongside Loungefly and Funko, other merchandise for Superman includes action figures from McFarlane Toys, Statues from Sideshow Collectibles and specific movie theater goodies. The latter has featured stylish popcorn buckets, plushies, collectible cups and more. After the film releases, we’re sure to get more merch tied to specific moments and spoilers from Superman.

Superman flies into theaters on July 11th, 2025. You can prepare by watching past DC cinematic adventures like Superman: The Movie, Superman II and Man of Steel on HBO Max.
