John Malkovich has had an acclaimed career, but his latest outing has critics and audiences divided over its quality: Sunrise Film’s Mr. Blake, At Your Service!, a 2023 French film starring Malkovich and Fanny Ardant, recently acquired distribution in the United States, but is sitting with skewed numbers on Rotten Tomatoes when it comes to the critic’s score versus the audience score; so there appears to be no clear consensus on the film.

Mr. Blake, At Your Service! is currently sitting with a 92% critic’s score on Rotten Tomatoes based on 12 reviews, meaning that professional film reviewers almost unanimously liked the film. But the film’s audience score is much lower, with only a 51% score from less than 50 public reviews. But this is not necessarily unusual, as films are often divided between the opinions of critics and the opinions of the moviegoing public.
