It’s the end of an era for the Queer Eye franchise.
On Wednesday, July 9, Netflix confirmed that the reality show will conclude after 10 seasons.
“10 seasons. Fab Five. One last go ‘round,” the streaming service wrote via Instagram at the time. “The final season of Queer Eye is officially in production!”
In the announcement, Karamo, Jonathan van Ness, Antoni Porowski, Tan France and Jeremiah Brent posed for the cameras in Washington D.C., near the heart of the nation’s capital. It’s unclear if the entire season will be based in and around the area.

“What a wild ride ❤️. Excited to bring it back one more time,” Jonathan, 38, wrote in the comments section. Tan, 42, added, “What a joy it’s been to be able to make this beautiful show all these years🥰.”
Antoni, 41, continued, “Let’s make our last one count.”
Queer Eye first premiered in February 2018 and was a reboot of the original 2003 series produced by Bravo. Each episode follows five advisors as they spend a week applying their various areas of expertise to help improve someone’s life situation.
Antoni was focused on food and wine, while Tan handled fashion. Karamo, 44, was credited as the expert on relationships while Jonathan excelled in grooming.

For the first eight seasons, Bobby Berk was part of the cast and focused on interior design and home organization. In November 2023, the best-selling author announced he was leaving the show, allowing Jeremiah, 40, to step in and take over the position.
The show received praise for its LGBTQ+ representation and earned multiple Emmys and GLAAD Media Awards.
Although the show may be coming to an end, much of the cast made it clear they are going to continue working hard to make sure season 10 is unforgettable.
“Season 10, the final season ❤️,” Jonathan wrote via Instagram on Wednesday. “We are so excited to bring this finale to you, and excited for what’s next 🥹🫶.”

Tan added, “First day of the FINAL season of Queer Eye. It’s been a long, beautiful journey we’ve been on, and I truly appreciate all of the love and support for our little show, that changed my life in ways I never thought possible. As we begin our farewell season here on D.C I simply want to say thank you! Thank you!!!!! ❤️.”
The cast already has several gigs lined up after Queer Eye wraps. Karamo will continue with his self-titled talk show while Jonathan plans to grow their hair care line JVN Hair.
Queer Eye is currently streaming on Netflix.
