We’re less than two weeks away from The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and Marvel’s third and final movie of the year just got a riveting new look. Marvel Studios has officially unveiled the final trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps and also announced that tickets for the film are now on sale ahead of its July 25 release. The trailer also teases the arrival of Galactus (Ralph Ineson) while playing coy about any potential involvement from Doctor Doom (Robert Downey Jr.), who will be the feature villain in next year’s Avengers: Doomsday. During this month’s issue of Empire Magazine, director Matt Shakman stated that Doom won’t be in The Fantastic Four: First Steps, but this wouldn’t be the first time a Marvel creative or actor has applied a bit of misdirection to throw off the fans.
If Doctor Doom is going to have a role in The Fantastic Four: First Steps, it’s likely going to be in a post-credit scene. Although we can’t say for certain if he’s going to be seen before Avengers: Doomsday, there are plenty of names confirmed to star in the film. Leading the charge as the members of Marvel’s First Family, are Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby as Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman. Starring alongside them as the group’s resident boneheads are Joseph Quinn (Stranger Things) and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Bear), who will play The Human Torch and The Thing, respectively. The aforementioned Ineson will portray Galactus, with Julia Garner starring as his herald, the Shalla-Bal version of the Silver Surfer. Natasha Lyonne, John Malkovich, and Paul Walter-Hauser will also star in the film.
